Donations and Sponsorships

We administer our donation and sponsorship program with thoughtful consideration and a complementary mix of approaches. While our plan includes monetary investments, we believe the most effective method of support that leads to sustained results is through education and guidance. In this manner, we help far more people achieve and sustain progress than any amount of widely-spread capital contribution could serve. As such, we put a primary and growing emphasis in the Services category of our Community Reinvestment program.

Guidelines for donations and sponsorships

We review donations and sponsorship requests based on the following criteria:

• Assessment area
• Program specific
• Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) qualified criteria
  1. Affordable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals
  2. Community services targeted to low- and moderate-income individuals
  3. Activities that promote economic development by financing businesses, or forms that meet the SBA size eligibility (100 employees or less) or have gross annual revenues of $1.0 million or less
  4. Activities that revitalize or stabilize low- and moderate-income areas measurement in monitoring mechanism.
