Lu Yunting

(b. 1989, Heilongjiang)
Lu Yunting was born in Heilongjiang Province, China, in 1989 and currently lives in Beijing China.

Lu Yunting is an abstract artist known for three series of paintings that he created since 1997, which include “Chinese-like Characters,” "Infinite Heaven and Earth" and “Reflections on Nature.”  Unlike the Chinese characters series, paintings in the "Infinite Heaven and Earth" are characterized by pure abstract forms. Using acrylic paints, splashed ink, and rice paper rubbings, Lu created abstract images representing mountains, clouds, and trees.

He holds a degree from the Art Institute of Dalian Polytechnic University and has been highly active in Beijing and Shanghai in China. Lu has participated in exhibitions internationally including South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, France, Chicago, Houston, and California.
